High Five for Saturday

Welcome to the weekend! I hope you all are having a good one. My post have been a bit on the heavy side lately, so I really wanted to do something a little bit lighter for my second post this week, so I thought why not share what I've been loving from around the web this week, aka High Five for Friday. 

As you notice, it is not Friday. Last night got a little crazy, in a good way, and I didn't get a chance to post so, we are just going to fudge the rules a little bit and have a High Five for Saturday! High Five for Friday v5

Happy Friday All! Here are some things that I loved from around the internet this week.

High Five for Friday v4

So, I'm going to be shaking up these High Five for Friday posts. For the time being, since I am doing the 100 Happy Days Challenge, I'm going to forgo the weekly update of things that made me happy in the week (you've already seen them on instagram!) and instead share with you my favorite things form around the internet this week. (Got this idea from thecluelessgirl.com's Things I Love Thursday) I love her posts and I have wanted to do one ever since!

High Five for Friday v3

 Are you happy its Friday? I know I am! This week has been crazy. School ends next week and I still have 3 more papers to write. What is this madness?

 So, earlier this week, I stumbled upon this thing... a few of you may have heard of it. Its called 100 Happy Days . Basically, its a challenge to post a picture of something that makes you happy each day for 100 days! I chose Instagram as my mode of posting so, if you follow me on there, sorry for the repeat pictures! (username is thehuntress31 if you want to follow)

Played with the kitty cats and had a lazy day on Sunday :) (this Sunday we are supposed to get a huge snow storm! Boo!

I got to relax with my hubby on Monday night!

Our new pantry storage cabinet thing finally arrived! The plan was that John would do the pantry organizing and I would do the dvd organizing. Well, I came home after school on Tuesday to find that he had done them both! Isn't he a sweetie?!

On Wednesday, John decided to come home early and we ended up getting some Chipotle, which I had been craving for AGES!

I'm still working up a storm on my next knitting project. Any tips on knitting faster? I'm still pretty new so maybe that's it but I'm like Ricky Bobby over here... I wanna go fast!

Oh yeah... I made brownies for John but I've been eating them all week. Brownie sundaes are totally worth all the carbs and such right? ...right?



What can I say? Its a crazy life I live!

High Five for Friday v2

I know I haven't done a High Five for Friday in a while, but, I'm going to make more of an effort to do it every Friday! I had a ton of homework this week so, I sort of failed on my new plan, but my new plan is to blog every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday! Be on the look out for new series! :)

- My kitty cats make are a highlight pretty much every week. They're so cuddly and cute! Ah!

- Technically not this week but last Saturday John and I got to see my parents and go to lunch with them so, that was awesome!
- John and I finally bought a new shelving system for a makeshift pantry so we can use the bookshelf that is currently acting as a pantry as dvd storage! (Our collection is overflowing!)
- I finished a really awesome book  An Invisible Thread (book review to come soon!)
- I sort of kind of won a Harry Potter argument!

- I got to talk to my bestie! Always a good time.
- I'm doing pretty well with my new years resolutions.
- Last but not least.... THE SNOW HAS MELTED! I am so happy!

P.s. I'm going to make it a point to take better pics with my camera and not my phone... and take more pictures!

High Five for Friday 1.0

Hello All!

I know its been awhile... I may even have missed a Monthly Mayhem, my apologies!

But, I am getting back on track! 

As a was looking through my blogroll  and I came across one of my friends weekly posts, "High Five for Friday" which originally came from this blog. 

I think its a pretty flipping awesome idea. 

Basically, on Fridays, you round up 5 great things about your week.

I think this is a great way to stay grateful and positive throughout the week. 

So, without further ado, here is this weeks High Five for Friday

1. We closed on our home! It is very cute and a lovely starter home for John and I. Expect more pictures and decor type posts coming up in your near future!

2.  Finding out I got a 4.0 my first evening campus session at Columbia College!

3.  Talks with mi madre.

4. Catching up on all of our shows with my hubby. 

5. This is kind of cheating because it technically hasn't happened yet but, my best girl friend is coming up to help us move tomorrow and I'm very excited!
