Hello there! I am so excited that you've taken the time to get to know me a little bit better, and I hope to get to know you!
Who am I?
My name is Kailey Greenwood and I am married to the most amazing and handsome man: John Greenwood. We had a small, but beautiful wedding on May 31st, 2013 and are now the proud parents of two very fluffy babies! Our European Burmese cats Winter Beckett and Castle! We love playing board games, making delicious shakes and smoothies, watching television, expanding our dvd collection (seriously, it's kind of an issue!) and spending time with our friends.
John and I are currently both in school and have full time jobs. John is pursuing a degree in Speech Communications to pursue his dream of becoming a public speaker. As much as I would love to degree in knitting, that's just not really an option here in the U.S. so, I am completing my degree in English with an emphasis in literature.
I have a passion for writing and a passion for people.
What you can expect from this blog:
Monthly updates on John & I's life, aka Monthly Mayhem

Some pre-wedding advice.
A lot of advice/opinion posts, I like to call them Life's Little Lessons.
And my favorite part... free knitting patterns and other crafts! I like to label these types of posts The Cozy Housewife
Most importantly, you can expect this blog to be fun! This blog is a place where you can hang out, relax, and feel like you're dishing about life with your best friends. It's where you can feel empowered and/or inspired. As a person, and as a couple. My hope is to give you tools to achieve that, while having some fun along the way. My post may not always be about how you can better your life, but I do hope that each time you stop by, you'll either leave a little happier, or with some food for thought.
What's with the name?
John and I met in high school. We never dated and yet we still had a song that we considered to be "our song."
That song was Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down.
One of the main lyrics in the song is
"If I go crazy then will you still call me superman?"
While my husband hasn't gone crazy (yet),
I consider him my superman.
He will always (still) be my superman.
Kailey
