How I'm Reading 2 to 5 Books a Week

Monday, January 13, 2014

If your anything like me, you like to watch YouTube videos. Well, a couple of the people that I subscribe to keep talking about how amazing "audible.com" is.
Now, I'm not going to bash audible.com or anything but, every time I would hear this, I couldn't help but to think, but I don't want to pay for audiobooks that I'll probably never listen to again.
So, I started looking for apps that let me download free audiobooks and I stumbled upon this awesome app called, Overdrive Media Console. This is available on Andriod, iPhone, Nook, PCs, and Macs.
Basically, how it works, is you download the app and then you add libraries. You can add more than one if you have multiple library memberships, but as for me, I just have one library. You can then check out e-books or audiobooks for a number of days. When they are "due" back, then you simply "return" them, and they go off your device.
I now listen to audiobooks every day at work.
The only issue is that you are "checking out" via a library. So, that means that there is a limit to how many of a certain book are available and which are available.
But hey, I'm getting to listen to lots of different books for free so, I'm not complaining.

Since I am listening to so many books, I'd like to start doing a book review series but I want a cute name for it (like Elle Fowler's Glitteratures). Any suggestions?
